Student Liaison

• This committee will be responsible for keeping in constant contact with the local Student Sections, via Student Section Presidents, Advisors, and Counselors, and the Region Student Coordinator.
• This committee will work with the RSC to find Counselors in their section when a Student Section is in need of one.
• This committee will keep Section abreast of any upcoming activities for us to become involved in with the Student Sections.
• This committee will help develop activities for Central Ohio Section to host/co-host with the Students.
• Student Liaison Chair will provide quarterly articles for the newsletter with updates on student sections.
• Committee will assist student sections in locating speakers and plants for tours in our area.
• Committee will plan a yearly upgrading event for graduating SWE members.
• (Reports to the Secretary.)

Membership Committee

• This committee will be responsible for assisting the officers in developing activities for the membership.
• This committee will also generate ideas and activities to promote retention and recruitment.
• This committee will assist Secretary in notifying membership of upcoming meetings, activities, or scheduling changes.
• Committee chair will maintain membership database, e-mail list serve, and mailing labels for newsletters and other mass mailings to the membership.
• Committee will track membership statistics and will report to the membership quarterly (via newsletter or at membership meetings).
• Committee will develop and send recruitment flyers, member surveys, dropped member surveys, and new member welcome packets.
• (Reports to VP)

Outreach Committee

• This committee will be responsible for putting together programs and activities for the local Girl Scout Chapters.
• This committee will work closely with the Girl Scouts to develop badges, and work closely with the Section to organize activities and volunteers to assist the local Girls Scouts in receiving badges and participating in engineering activities.
• (Reports to the COR.)
