Why Join SWE?

Society of Women Engineers

Lehigh Valley Section

SWE stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity. Benefits of SWE membership include access to:

SWE members have been recognized for their many accomplishments both by SWE itself and by peer engineering societies.

A portion of the dues paid to SWE headquarters is refunded to the local section to help support its programs.

SWE-LV holds a board meeting of officers once per month during September to May. These are usually held at The Café at Wegman’s in Allentown starting at 6:00 p.m. All members are welcome!

 

SWE-LV is available to hold membership lunches to inform female engineering colleagues about the benefits of SWE. Contact any of our section officers to set up a lunch presentation for your workplace.
