Be a SWE Science Fair Judge	FROM THE DESK OF DAWN PLAISANCE – SCIENCE FAIR JUDGING CHAIR
SWE Baton Rouge History	We have been fortunate with the generosity of Syngenta Inc. sponsoring the awards for this program over the last six years. I have enjoyed organizing this event and participating as a SWE Judge myself. Over the years, I have observed a growing number of girls demonstrating outstanding depth of knowledge in the work they presented and it has become more and more challenging and time consuming to decide on the SWE winners. The task, nevertheless, is fun and fulfilling seeing our local budding scientists and engineers compete at their best. I call upon women engineers around the Baton Rouge area to come and join me with my panel of judges to select the best projects for the SWE awards and commend the students for their excellent achievement and hard work.
