SWE Counselor / Faculty Advisor Training Meli Dinglasa, SWE Region F Collegiate Interests Representative Presentation Description: This workshop will review the responsibilities and expectations for SWE collegiate counselors and faculty advisors. There will be a brief overview of SWE’s collegiate leadership structure and reporting as well as plenty of time for sharing experiences with other SWE counselors and faculty advisors. This module was presented at the SWE national conference in 2007. All SWE collegiate counselors and faculty advisors should attend this session. About the Speaker: Meli Dinglasa is the Region F Collegiate Interests Representative and SWE Boston Section Collegiate Liaison and Webmaster, whose role is to ensure that collegiate sections are aware of regional and local activities, to promote networking, supply information on funding resources and assistance with SWE questions. Meli is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University and earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 2004.
