SWE Collegiate Business Meeting Angelie Ng, Region F Collegiate Representative and Malysa Cheng, Region F Collegiate Newsletter Editor Presentation Description: The collegiate business meeting will include brainstorming with other student members and a review of collegiate section business. The candidates for next year's Region F Collegiate Rep and Region F Newsletter Editor will make short candidate speeches, along with sections who are bidding to host the 2009 Region F conference. Come prepared to share lessons learned--what does and doesn't work?--for your section. This will be a fun, interactive meeting and a great way to meet your fellow Region F collegiate members! All collegiate members should attend. About the Moderators: Angelie Ng is the SWE Region F Collegiate Representative. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hartford, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering also from the University of Hartford. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Project Management with a focus on Telecommunications. Malysa Cheng and is the SWE Region F Regional Collegiate Newsletter Editor (RCNE). Malysa is a Junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Studies at Union College. She is the Secretary of Union’s SWE Section and President of Union’s ASME Student Section. She has a strong interest in mechatronics and business and she is enrolled in an accelerated 5 year program at Union to get her Master’s Degree. In her spare time, she enjoys softball, snow tubing, loves to travel and fall asleep on the beach, and, of course, shopping!
