This is my family, my husband, Jeff, and my daughter, Elizabeth (left).  Jeff and I will be married 12 years this October.

I am back in school as a 'non-traditional' student.....After 30 years of working!

I worked at ATK Space Systems as a Rocket Motor Final Assembly Process Engineer for 5 1/2 years. Before that I worked 25 years at SPS Technologies (they make precision aerospace fasteners) in CA and UT, most recently as a Product Engineer, interfacing with the customer's engineers as a technical liaison, among other things.  I was also a methods engineer, mechanical test lab technician, chemical lab technician for them.  I started in customer service, tele-typing sales quotes and working the mailroom.  I worked full time and went to CSULB part time at nights for 12 years to get my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

I am in the bio-manufacturing program at SLCC to work towards an AAS degree, learning the bio-medial flavor of the FDA quality systems (very similar to Aerospace) and to get certified.
