1. October Relax, Unwind, and Network (RUN) Dinner - Saturday, October 10, 2009 Who: Everyone! This is meant as a nice social meal. Feel free to invite spouses, friends, neighbors -- anyone you think would like to come! What: Fourth Monthly RUN meal, and a fun evening out! Why: To try a new restaurant, or simply eat good food while hanging out with cool people! When: Saturday, October 10th, 12 pm Where: Zemam's Ethiopian Cuisine, 2731 Broadway (NW corner, Broadway & Country Club) Reservation is under SWE RSVP: swe.tucson@gmail.com by October 8th 2. Going to SWE Nationals? Meet up with the Tucson Section in Long Beach- Thursday, October 15, 2009 Anyone from Tucson attending the conference is invited to meet your fellow Tucsonans and board members. We'll be meeting Thursday 7pm at the Hilton Lobby. 3. Get some Christmas shopping done early while relaxing with friends! Tohono Chul Park Tea Room, Saturday November 14th Silent Auction and Tea event to benefit University of Arizona Student Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Section presented by SWE Tucson: Saturday, November 14, 2009, 2:30pm Tohono Chul Park Tea Room 7366 N Paseo Del Norte (Major cross streets: Ina & Oracle) Tickets are $18.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. For those who are not able to attend the event but would like to help out the students and get some early Christmas shopping done by participating in the silent auction, the auction will run online from Saturday, November 7, 2009, through Friday, November 13, 2009. December Holiday Pot Luck and Kitting Party - Sunday, December 6, 2009 Who: Everyone is welcome, invite spouses, friends, neighbors -- anyone you think would like to come! What: SWE Holiday Pot Luck and Solar Competition Kitting Party When: Sunday, December 6th at 1pm. SWE will provide water and soda, please bring a dish to share and any "extra" beverages you might want. Where: Stacey's House -- address will be given out upon RSVP'ing Why: Socialize, celebrate the holiday season, and help prepare all of our Solar Competition orders to date so they can be shipped!
