FUNNY PUTTY

OBJECTIVES: Students are introduced to the properties of solids, liquids and gases. Students will learn that colloids are mixtures which display the properties of more than one of these states. Students will make putty (a colloid) and experiment with its properties. Optionally, students can use different glues and test how the properties of the putty changes. Students will develop an understanding of the relationships among technologies and the connections between technology and other fields of study.
