Take time out to explore the local sights and sounds. As a SWE Conference attendee, you’ll have your pick of some of Kansas City’s most interesting destinations. Sign up for private, technical tours of the GM, Ford or Harley Davidson vehicle assembly plants, the massive Hallmark Card Distribution Center, the Sprint Nextel Experience, the Stowers Institute or other unique venues. Lighter diversions include a visit to the city’s major art galleries, the American Jazz and Negro Leagues Baseball museums, the Boulevard Brewing Company, a Taste of Kansas City or the Truman Home and Presidential Library.
