Registration Policies and Guest Services
Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be issued for written, fax or email cancellations only that are received at the registration office on or before September 15, 2006. No telephone cancellations accepted. Note: Refund is limited to basic registration fees. No ticket prices for special events or tours can be refunded.
Under 18 Years of Age Policies
Attendees must be over 18 years of age to attend a technical tour. Children can accompany parents to any sightseeing tour unless otherwise designated. For safety reasons, no one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the exhibit hall during setup. Minors will be allowed in the exhibit hall during the Career Fair posted hours, but only if accompanied by a parent or guardian. For specific questions regarding age limits and policies, please contact the Conference Management office at 1-800-892-2858.
Childcare
The SWE Conference will offer onsite childcare services at the 2006 conference through our local provider, Tiny Tots. There will be no charge to the attendee for basic childcare on Thursday, October 12 – Saturday, October 14, 2006 during the posted hours. However, availability is limited, so please send an inquiry to conferencemanager@swe.org. We will follow up with complete information on or before August 15, 2006.
Guest Fee Clarification
Our special reduced guest fee is limited to one guest per paid registrant (with the exception of the registrant’s children under 18 years of age). The guest fee is limited to spouses and other guests of participants. The guest fee includes exhibit events and general non-paid social events. Guests are allowed to purchase tickets to paid events when accompanied by a participant, excluding professional CES Courses.

Career Resources Center
Do you need to update your résumé, check your email, or get some work done for your meeting? Use our Career Resource Center, conveniently located in the Kansas City Convention Center. We will supply computers, printers and host internet access. This center will be available Wednesday through Saturday noon. Hours are Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
