Apply today for the 2009 Certificate of Merit or the 2009 Scholarship.

The 2009 Scholarship Application Deadline is April 15, 2009. 

Scholarship Application

• The applicant must be female.
• The applicant’s home must be in a zip code with these three numbers as the first three digits: IL 600-608, 610-611, and 613; IN 463-466.
• The applicant must be a freshman, re-entry or transfer student accepted into an engineering or computer science program, by an accredited college or university for the Fall 2009 semester.
• The applicant’s grade point average must be above 3.0/4.0 scale

Applicants will also supply a certified copy of their high school transcript, copy of an acceptance letter into an engineering program, at least one letter of recommendation, a one page or less essay entitled "Why I Want to Become an Engineer", and a self-addressed return envelope for reply.

The process for determining the scholarship winners will be completed by mid May. Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the Awards Banquet Thursday, June 11, 2009.
