The three (3) Nominating Committee members are selected by the current Executive Board, with the Executive Board appointing one of these three (3) members as Chair of the Committee.
The Chair of the Nominating Committee collects all nominations for Officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Section Representative) from the membership. Upon the deadline for nominations, the Chair presents all candidates to the Nominating Committee. The Committee as a team reviews the Statement of Qualification and Resume of Leadership Experiences, and interviews each candidate. Using the suggested guidelines set forth in the Qualifications section of this document, the Nominating Committee selects the candidate or candidates who are best qualified for each Officer position. This slate of FY09 candidates for Office is dispersed to the Central Florida Section via email along with the Statement of Qualification and Biographies for each candidate.
