NEWS!! Take a look at the Region J FY06 Yearbook.  We did a lot of great stuff! National Conference is coming up quickly.  Details of the Oct. 25-27 event are located at this website. Congratulations to the newest section in Region J!   Check out SWE- South Puget Sound, chartered August 5, 2006. CONGRATULATIONS TO LINDA THOMAS Linda Thomas is the duly elected REGION J GOVERNOR for FY07-08.  Linda served as the Region Lt. Governor this past year at the same time she was PNW Section President, and also represented the region on the National Multi-cultural and Professional Development Committees.  She has been dedicated to SWE leadership for many years. There is a proposed new section in Montana!   Check out SWE- Big Sky.

Upcoming Events... October 25-27, 2007 SWE National Conference in Nashville, Tennesse Region J Section Reporting DATES! The section template with the below dates is attached HERE.  The dates for submitting your section reports are as follows: 1st Report: August 25, 2007 2nd Report: December 20, 2007 3rd Report : May 28, 2008 (4th Report: July 7. 2008 - to cover any end of year business and FY08 officer listing) FY06 Region J report #1 FY06 Region J report #2 FINAL SECTION REPORTS FOR FY06 Alison asked for final reports to be submitted on July 7, 2007 but Naomi Brill, Director of Regions has requested a summary of best practices by June 15 in order for her to post to her web site before the end of June. If you would like to have a summary of your best practices included in this her report, please submit to Alison by June 10 and she will pull them all together and submit to her. If you go back through your three section reports, you should be able to do this in a short time. Final reports are still due by July 7, and will be posted on the region webpage. Please be sure to include your next years' officers in this final report.

Region and Section officers!  The document with your contact email addresses that was posted on the "Officers" page has been removed for updating and modification for spam.  Hopefully these addresses can be returned to the site soon.

The next Region J meetings will be held at the 2007 SWE National Conference in Nashville, TN .
