SWE-CI is in its fourth year of a Scholarship Endowment drive to collect sufficient funds to enable two $1000 scholarships to be awarded to worthy students each year. Scholarships will be awarded to existing engineering majors as well as to high school students to attend summer engineering programs.

Volunteers are currently needed to help develop scholarship applications, evaluation criteria, application distribution lists, and other necessary information. Once the endowment has been opened (expected in 2006), volunteers will also be needed to distribute and review scholarship applications.
