Scholarships

 

SWE-CI Scholarship

The Society of Women Engineers Central Indiana Section scholarship is awarded annually to a female sophomore, junior or senior engineering student from Indiana or attending a college in Indiana. Winner will be notified in May 2008. Non-recipients will be notified only if a self-addressed stamped envelope is submitted with the application package.

• Scholarship award is $1,000.00
• Applications are due April 15, 2008
• Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a baccalaureate ABET/CSAB accredited engineering or computer science degree program
• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Applicant must be a sophomore, junior or senior during the 2008-2009 academic years
• Applicant must not be receiving full funding for education from another organization (e.g. Armed forces or employer)
• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Indiana or must be attend a University in Indiana
