Birdies for Charity |
| General: |
This year we will be earning money by participating in the 2009 John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity program. The way Birdies for Charity works is to obtain flat dollar donations OR pledges of 1 cent or more for every "birdie" made at the 2009 John Deere Classic Golf Tournament. A 1 cent pledge per birdie has historically resulted in a donation of approximately $20.
The nice thing is that we can start NOW giving out the pledge forms to our friends, family, and co-workers. ALL the money we raise will come back to us. All administrative or promotional costs of the program are paid by John Deere. Birdies for Charity collects the pledges after the tournament, then sends all money received from our donators to our organization.

Flower Sales |

Spring Flower Sale Brochures are Here! All money will be due at the March meeting on March 23rd. Our section will receive 50% of the sales that are made which will be used towards meetings, speakers, girl scout events, and establishing a scholarship fund. See the flyer for information.
