The Society of Women Engineers is a not-for-profit organization that supports women engineers in all stages of their career, from current professionals, stay-at-home moms and retirees, to students from the collegiate level to grade school. Our volunteers are a vital part of making a difference in our community.

Open Chair Positions
SWE utilizes volunteers to take on planning events: workshops for students to career development. Commitment times vary. 
 
Membership
Opportunities include meeting greeters, event planning committees and speaking about SWE and/or being a women engineer.
 
Professional Development
Opportunities include the yearly Professional Development Conference planning committee and networking events. 
 
Outreach
Opportunities include collegiate transition event, career days, scholarship readings, girls engineering exploration (GEE) day and maker faire.
 
Communication
Opportunities include special newsletter contributor and publicizing events. 
 
Fund Development
Opportunities include fund development committee, creating solicitation packets and corporate sponsorship.
