Mentoring Opportunities
One of the goals of our SWE section is to bridge the gap between student and
professional life, and we need your help. Each college and university with a SWE chapter
needs a Section Counselor. A Section Counselor is paired with a SWE chapter to offer advice,
help set up lectures and field trips or anything that the chapter needs to be successful.
If you are a recent graduate or are interested in becoming more involved in SWE, please e-mail
Student Section Liaison.
SWE National Web Seminars
Take a short online crash course in communication skills, management skills,
time management, work/life Balance, or career advice.
SWE Web Seminar Replays is free for SWE members.

SWE Seminar - Leadership and Leadership Cultures
Leadership requires only four elements: understanding yourself, a well-defined personal vision, understanding others, and communicating to motivate. Natural charismatic leadership ability cannot be taught, but these four elements can.
This seminar will address fundamental leadership principles, overcoming personal obstacles, inspiring leadership in those around you, and developing and implementing a leadership culture in your own organization. Details >>
