Greetings SWE Southeast Florida Section and Friends!

Welcome to another SWE year!

This year we want to offer you a new and improved SWE section where you can participate in Region D networking activities, section meetings and social events as well as outreach events to inspire those future engineers in the southeast Florida area. The following are activities in the area for the next few weeks. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in participating or volunteering for any event. Help us make SWE one of Florida’s premier engineering organizations for women engineers. We look forward to an exciting new year! Best of luck!

Upcoming Events:

- Want to have a Girls Night OUT? How does dinner, a play and some new friends sound? Come and join our SWE Section to watch the play Benefactors at the Dramaworks theater. We will begin with dinner at 6:00 PM at the ER Bradleys Restaurant in West Palm Beach. Invite your girlfriends too!

Cost: $40 theater ticket per person

- SWE Officer Elections: Please submit nominations for our FY 2008 officers to: cara.smith@swe.org. Positions available can be found on our website. If you would like to be more involved at the Section level please volunteer for an officer position and benefit from the many networking and professional development opportunities available. SWE Officers Nominations are DUE on May 15th, 2008.
