This year we have a full schedule of events. We have at least one event scheduled for each month. Please look at calendar and participate! We are always looking for members that are interested in volunteer for outreach events or speaking at a section meeting. Help us grow and help SWE become a society that stands out above the rest. - SEFL SWE Joint Holiday Party with the Palm Beach Planning Congress - Friday, December 4, 2009
Time: 7:30-10:30 pm.
Place: Bonnette Hunt Club, Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Cost: Cost is $40 if you RSVP before Nov 20, $45 after Nov 20. This includes appetizers, All-you-can-eat country buffet, desserts, open bar and music.
There will also be a raffle with lots of door prizes. Don’t forget to bring an unwrapped toy for toys for tots to receive a raffle ticket.

- SEFL SWE Gala - Saturday, December 19, 2009
Topic: Come celebrate the 20th Year Anniversary for Southeast Florida Section of Society of Women Engineers aboard the Palm Beach Princess.
Place: The Palm Beach Princess boat departs from Port of Palm Beach.
Time: 6-11:30 pm
Cost: $45 which includes dinner, 1 free drink, and $10 slot play voucher.

- Broward Math Counts - Saturday, February 13, 2010
Location: Blanche Ely High School (1201 NW 6th Ave, Pompano Beach, FL, 33060) in Pompano Beach
Time: 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with sign-in & registration, proctoring the tests, and scoring; volunteers are welcome to sign up for either a half day or full day, as suits their schedule. - 2nd Annual Engineering Family Fun Day (EF2D)– Saturday, February 20, 2009
Topic: EF2D is annual event jointly presented by local chapters of the Society of Women Engineers and National Society of Black Engineers(NSBE). The purpose of the event is to enlighten students in 3rd to 12th grade about the various engineering fields through hands on activities that are fun and engaging. We need volunteers to help plan this event and are looking for sponsors.
Time: 10AM - 2PM
