Message from Our President

Dear Southeast Florida Section,

Welcome to Fiscal Year 2012! I think this is going to be another great year for the Southeast Florida Section. We are very excited about what we were able to accomplish in FY 2011 and about the events we have planned for FY 2012. This year SEFL SWE will continue to host two Girl Scout Making It Matter Workshops, two Eco-Action Girl Scout Workshops made possible by an ERM Foundation Grant, and Engineering Family Fun Day (EF2D).

Our section will also be volunteering for the City of West Palm Beach’s Clematis by Night on Thursday, August 18th. Please come out and support this fundraising effort for our section. I want to thank all of the volunteers, particularly the members of the executive board, for your commitment to make this another wonderful year for SEFL SWE. It is your enthusiasm and support that drive our program to be successful.

As always, if you have any ideas for events or activities that you would like to see planned, please don’t hesitate to bring them to my attention. I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming SWE event!
