Volunteer Opportunities for SWE Members

  • Are you planning to attend The Society's Conference in Florida? If so, please consider signing up as a volunteer to help run the outreach event named "WE10 Invent It. Build It" on Nov 6th 2010. Please go to the link here. This will be a great opportunity to help girls get some 'hands-on' experience with engineering!

Executive council minutes

Section B009 has an "open door" policy for business meetings. Members are welcome to attend. Calendar runs from Jul to Jul of following year
STAY IN TOUCH WITH SWE
To sign up for the local section's listserv, please do the following:
  1. Log in to the email account at which you want to receive the emails This is crucial!
  2. Compose a new message
  3. Populate your email using the following values:
    Addressee = listmanager@swe.org
    Subject = (leave blank)
    Body = subscribe (list serv name)(your first name) (your last name)...the name of our listserv is "greatersaltlake"

  4. Send email like normal. Listserv system will send a confirmation message containing your subscribed email address and name. If you have already subscribed under this this email eccount, you'll get an 'error'
