Registration Deadline
In order to take advantage of early registration fees, register as soon as possible.

Guests
Spouses and other guests of participants (over 16 years of age) are invited
to attend the SWE conference. The guest fee of $50 includes the exhibit hall
events and opening ceremony. Guests may purchase tickets to paid ticketed
events through the registration process prior to September 27, 2002. However,
if a guest wishes to include CES, seminars, workshops or any other educational
part of the conference, a daily or full registration must be purchased.

Children
Children 16 and over may register to attend non-ticketed events or may purchase
student tickets to attend most ticketed events. There may be some
tour restrictions. Note: No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the
Exhibit Hall (other than the registration area) during ANY period of
Exhibitor Setup. However, we will have child care available all week at the
Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center. Children under 16 do not need to pay
a registration fee, but must purchase tickets to any ticketed event. Some
exceptions may apply for children under 5; please call 800-892-2858 if
you have any specific questions or concerns on children's fees.

Confirmation of Registration
Registration confirmation will be mailed, however, all badges and tickets will be picked up at the SWE Registration Desk on-site.

Cancellations
Refunds will be issued for written cancellations only (fax and email are
accepted) received at the Registration Office no later than September 15,
2002. Individual paid event tickets are NOT refundable unless SWE cancels

Telephone cancellations are not accepted and refunds are issued from the Registration Office ONLY to the original payee by the method paid.

Ticket Resale
For your convenience, the SWE concierge desk will support a ticket exchange program at which members can swap, sell, or donate tickets to each other for non-refundable events.

Special Needs
If you require special services during the Conference, please check the box indicated on the registration form, and notify the Conference Management Office by phone (800-892-2858), fax (630-271-8234) or email (jelipani@showmgmtservices.com).
If you require special dietary accommodations for sit-down meals, check the box(es) provided on the registration form. If you have any severe food allergies or dietary concerns that, please notify the Conference Management office.

Volunteers Needed
We'd love to have your help! We need at least 100 volunteers to perform various tasks ranging from 1-4 hours. Instructions and/or training provided on-site as necessary. Contact Ann O'Connell at ann.oconnell@swe.org to volunteer. If you know what days and
approximate times you plan to be in Detroit, please indicate that in your note volunteering to help.
