Registration packets (badge and tickets, if any) will be distributed in our registration area at the Marriott City Center in Denver on Monday, June 25 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, or at the Colorado Convention Center, ground level, Area "C" beginning at 7:00 am on Tuesday, June 26.

    Option 1 Fees (After June 8th, you must register on-site)
    Option 1 registration includes admission to the Student Dinner and Ideas Exchange, Student Competitions, Exhibits Opening Reception, Exhibits and Career Fair, Ice Cream Social, Student/Grad Student/Alumni Reception, Open Technical Exchange, Panel Discussions, Workshops, Technical Paper Presentations, and Achievement Award Reception. These events are all non-ticketed events, and your name badge will get you in.

In particular, Explore Engineering, seminars, workshops, panels, continuing education series (CES) workshops and SWE business meetings.     Ticket Resale Desk


    For your confenience, the SWE concierge desk will support a ticket exchange program at which members can swap, sell, or donate tickets to each other for non-refundable events.
     


    Children


    Children 12 and over may register to attend non-ticketed events or may purchase student tickets to attend most ticketed events. There may be some tour restrictions. Note: Children CANNOT be allowed on the exhibit floor DURING ANY PERIOD OF EXHIBITOR SETUP.
     
    Children under 12 do not need to pay a registration fee, but must purchase tickets for ticketed events. Some exceptions may apply for children under 5; please call (800) 892-2858 if you have any specific questions or concerns on children's fees.
     


    Disabilities, Special Accomodations, and Special Meals


    Any participant needing special accommodaitons due to a disability should check the appropriate box on the registration form, so taht assistance can be provided. Any special requests should also be addressed to the SWE Conference office at (800) 892-2858, by fax to (630) 271-8234, or by email at swe_con@ameritech.net.

    PAYMENT

    On-line and pre-registration is now over.
     
    Internet registration is available only for payment (in U.S. dollars) by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please be careful when entering credit card numbers: you will not be able to complete your registration with inaccurate, incomplete, and/or declined numbers.

    You may also send a registration form with credit card payments to the address below, or fax it to 818-558-1279, if you do not want to submit payment and register over the Internet.

    Your payment is secure. The site uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and your credit card number is encrypted while your transaction is processed.

    CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

    Your completed Internet registration will be confirmed instantly by e-mail, and again within four weeks by regular mail. You may pick up your registration packet (badge and tickets, if any) in our registration area at the Marriott City Center in Denver on Monday, June 25 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, or at the Colorado Convention Center, ground level, Area "C" beginning at 7:00 am on Tuesday, June 26.

    IF YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED, simply skip the registration options page and select the additional tickets you would like to sign up for. We'll add the tickets to your existing registration.

     

    GUESTS

    Spouses and other guests of participants are invited to attend the SWE Conference. Guests may purchase tickets to ticketed events through the registration process prior to June 8, 2001. Any guest wanting to attend non-ticketed events should either purchase an Opton 1 Registration or a Daily Registration for those days in attendance. Guests may register for ticketed events on-site, subject to availability.

     REFUNDS

    Refunds will be issued for written cancellations only (fax and email are accepted) received at the Conference Management Office no later than Friday, June 1, 2001. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. Refunds for registrations are limited to registration fees only ( this includes Option 1 or Option 2 registration fees paid). Ticketed events such as tours, seminars, and special events are NON-REFUNDABLE unless SWE cancels the events. Refunds are granted to the original payee only via the method paid, and will be issued no later than 45 days following the end of the Conference.
