    This seminar is based on Chevron's Reinforcement-Based Leadership (RBL) Program. RBL is a customized application of applied behavioral science with a focus on identifying, measuring, and reinforcing behaviors that achieve and sustain positive business results.

    Participants will understand why behavior and managing behavior are key elements of effective leadership, promoting high performance, and achieving critical results. The objectives of this workshop are to: build understanding of RBL principles and tools; begin applying RBL principles and tools immediately; establish participants as positive reinforcers who are able to achieve results "the right way"; and enhance participants' personal effectiveness as leaders.

    Speaker: Jane Doty MacKenzie is currently the Team Lead for Change Leadership and Training at Chevron. Judy has had a wide variety of engineering leadership assignments since that time including serving as the Business Engineering Manager for the DuPont Fluoroproducts business and Engineering Manager for DuPont Europe, Middle East, and Africa, for which she lived and worked out of the Netherlands. She served as the Director of Global Operations for DuPont Company's Safety Consulting Business before assuming her current role in DuPont Engineering as Engineering Manager - IT Technology. She has a degree in chemistry from West Virginia University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
     
    Janet Howard has held a variety of positions with DuPont since joining the company in 1979. While Staff Engineering Assistant to the Director and Projects Manager in Lycra® Engineering, Janet and her staff won an Engineering Excellence Award associated with a $100 million plant expansion. Subsequently, Janet was an extended staff member of the Vice President of Engineering's staff. She became Business Manager of a small startup business in DuPont's Corporate New Business Development organization in 1999. Currently, Janet serves as a Senior Consultant in DuPont Consulting Solutions specializing in new product development, project management, and general management consulting.

Diane joined DuPont in 1978 and spent her first ten years in a a variety of positions primarily at DuPont's Polymers business. The next four years she was in Europe as European business manager based in Geneva for Engineering Polymers, and plant superintendent at the Mechelen, Belgium site. Diane served as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board, E.S. Woolard, in 1993-1994. Since the, she has held two positions as global business director, Nylon Fibers New Business Development and Global Zytel® Engineering Polymers. Diane is on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Richmond and previously served as Co-Chairman of the John Tyler Community College Workforce Campaign Development Council. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering and completed the Advanced Management Program at Wharton in 1994.
