Linda
Bernardi – Lunch Keynote Speaker
With leadership experience
spanning over two decades, Linda
Bernardi has a strong vision and
passion for emerging and future
technologies. In addition to
being the founder of the
Bernardi Leadership Institute,
Linda is the CEO and founder of
StraTerra Partners, a technology
strategy consulting firm.
StraTerra Partners works closely
with large enterprises and
technology providers in defining
and building strategies for new
technology adoption.
She
is an active entrepreneur,
technologist, investor and board
member. As a visionary
entrepreneur, in 2001 Linda
founded ConnecTerra, Inc. in
Cambridge, MA, the leading
software provider connecting
RFID technology to large
enterprise IT. As the CEO, she
led a highly talented team of
engineers, successfully grew the
ground breaking business, and
sold ConnecTerra to BEA Systems
in 2006.
Most recently
she was the VP of Strategy and
Innovation at Capgemini,
involved in building the global
technology ecosystem of the
company. Linda was the SVP of
strategic development at PPD
(Pharmaceutical Product
Development), Inc. where she
focused on strategic
acquisitions/integration of
genomics companies and new
technology innovations in
clinical trials. Prior to that,
Linda was the SVP of global
business development and
alliances at BBN (Bolt, Beranek
& Newman), a think-tank heavily
involved with the DoD, based in
Cambridge, MA, where she had
spent the first decade of her
career. Linda has a Masters
degree in applied statistics
from UCLA. She serves on the
boards of the SETI Institute,
the International Museum of
Women, on the council of
advisors for Astia, and is
Emeritus board member at the
Anita Borg Institute. She has
been nominated to serve as a
chair on the National Defense
Industry Association (NDIA)
effective 2009. Linda is an
active industry speaker and avid
mentor. |

Christina
Lomasney – Dinner Keynote Speaker
Christina
Lomasney is the CEO, president and
co-founder of Modumetal, an advanced
nanolaminated alloys company.
Together with co-founder Dr. John
Whitaker, she is realizing the
Company’s vision to revolutionizing
the way the materials world
approaches the design of structural,
high temperature and corrosion
resistant materials by leveraging
Modumetal’s patented nanolaminated
metals and manufacturing processes.
Ultimately, Christina plans that
Modumetal will re-define bulk
materials and end parts for
industrial, maritime, aerospace and
automotive applications, and that it
will support the realization of
ultra-lightweight, fuel efficient
transportation vehicles and durable,
low-cost industrial infrastructure.
Christina has worked in the
research, development and
commercialization of advanced
materials technologies for over a
decade, starting at The Boeing
Company, where she served in
engineering roles including in
Phantom Work’s advanced metals
manufacturing department. In 2001,
Christina co-founded Isotron
Corporation, a nanotech polymer
composites company, which today
holds a portfolio of commercial
products for environmental cleanup
and national defense. Christina led
the Isotron team directly for over 6
years, growing the company's revenue
base and technology portfolio, and
realizing the Company’s first
commercial products. She is
currently executive Chairman of
Isotron Corporation.
Christina holds a BS in Physics from
the University of Washington, where
she has completed studies towards a
MS in Applied Physics. She has
published and is named inventor on
several pending patents involving
large-scale environmental
remediation and advanced materials
applications. |
