Meetings
Meetings occur once per month and
usually include dinner and networking, a MH SWE update, and a talk
our tour by a qualified speaker on a topic of interest. Meetings cost
on the average between $20 and $30. Non-members are also encouraged to
attend our meetings, for a small surcharge.
Throughout the year
special meetings such as our annual holiday party, tours of local
business, outings to plays or local arts are scheduled. A summer picnic
rounds out our SWE year. See the SWE Mid-Hudson calendar for exact dates of events.
SWE operates on a fiscal calendar year
beginning July 1st and ending June 30th.
Planning Meetings
The board meets
monthly in person or via phone to discuss and plan upcoming events and
section business. These meetings are open to all members. Please
contact us if you would like to participate and help plan the upcoming
events!
Conferences
Region F Conference -
Held each spring at a university in region F. It's a two day event with
a conference on Saturday and Business Meeting on Sunday.
SWE Conference - Held each fall at a city around the US. This is a full
week conference for all members around the globe. |
