On April 28^th, the 24^th Annual CT Invention Convention was held at the Gampel Pavilion on the UCONN Storrs Campus. The day was filled with innovation and celebration to honor those students who were recognized from their local attending schools. The keynote address was given by Peter Halvordson, Vice President of Engineering at General Dynamics Electric Boat. Mr. Halvordson supported and congratulated the students on their success and encouraged them to be our next generation of inventors. The 2007 Special Awards compromised of Saving Bonds that ranged from $50 to $100 and Award Certificates. SWE Hartford would like to recognize all participates and congratulate them on their hard work.
