Session 2: Collegiate Business Meeting Description The collegiate business meeting is a must-attend session for all
collegiate SWE members so that elections and region collegiate business can
be conducted. The candidates for next year's Region F Collegiate Rep
(RCR) and Region F Collegiate Communications Editor (RCCE) will make short
candidate speeches, along with sections who are bidding to host the 2011
Region F conference. Come prepared to share lessons learned--what does
and doesn't work?--for your section. This will be a fun, interactive
meeting and a great way to meet your fellow New England Region F collegiate
members! Moderators
Rachael Stedman and Kuan Cheng Rachael is a junior at Franklin W. Olin College
of Engineering pursuing an electrical and computer engineering degree. She
helped organized Olin's first hosting of the SWE Regional Conference and
initiated a Women in Innovation
Lecture Series at Olin. Rachael also loves to dance. She grew up dancing
ballet, jazz, pointe, character, lyrical, and tap, but has expanded her dance
experience to include modern, hip hop, and Latin ballroom dance. Her academic
interests include software engineering, interface design, and graphic design.
Kuan Cheng is a sophomore studying mechanical
engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She currently
serves as treasurer to the MIT SWE section and RCCE for Region F. |
