year the SWE Region F Conference will be hosted by Boston
University, in Boston, MA. www.bu.edu The
conference theme is Changing the Way
the World Works and how better to start the conference
than with our keynote speaker, Jill S. Tietjen, P.E., author of “Her Story:
A Timeline of Women Who Changed America.” Join
us for dinner in the Burke Room with our evening keynote speaker, Dr. Karen
Panetta, professor of electrical and computer engineering at Tufts University
and a Boston University alumnus. Her
talk entitled “Engineering World Change” is sure to be thought provoking and
dynamic. A
wide array of seminars and workshops are planned for the day to provide
students and professionals with opportunities for professional and personal
growth. There are 6 tracks to choose from: Ř SWE Ř Professional

will be plenty of opportunities to network including a career fair with over 20
companies anxious to meet you and discuss opportunities. We
