Looking for a job in today’s market requires a different approach. Janet Hammill, who has previously presented
to SWE on job search techniques, will describe what you need to do to put
yourself in the best position possible.
Speaker
Janet Hammill is an employee of Rohm and Haas
Company, a specialty chemicals company employing 16,000 people
worldwide. She is a graduate of the
Carnegie-Mellon University Chemical Engineering Masters program with an
undergraduate degree in Chemistry. In
her current position as a Business Process Excellence lead and Master Black
Belt she works with teams around the world to improve profitability,
streamline processes and take advantage of the latest technology
solutions. During the past 25+years
she has managed and led teams for GE Plastics, Alcoa and ARCO with line
management responsibilities in R&D, technical application testing of
plastics and aluminum parts, e-procurement and Six Sigma.
