Session
1: Interview and Career Fair Preparation Description
Attending a
career fair and interviewing requires much more than just walking up to
recruiters and handing over a resume.
This session will describe the type of preparation needed when you
attend a career fair so that you can make the most of your time with each
company and leave the fair with a better chance of having a follow-up
interview. You will also learn how to
prepare for an interview and how to use your limited interview time to
effectively present yourself to the company.
This session is geared toward students and those interviewing for
early career roles. Speaker Jamie Renna is the Director of Dynamic Systems Engineering. He is
responsible for managing all design, material and process engineering for
rotor hubs, rotor blades and transmissions. He is also responsible for the
training and career development of his personnel and the technical leadership
for Dynamic Systems Engineering in department and company level initiatives. He holds a B.S. degree in Aeronautical
& Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a M.B.A. degree
from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. He has also earned a Certificate of
Management from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. Jamie
is a member of the American Helicopter Society and also a member of the
Purdue University School of Aeronautics & Astronautics Industrial
Advisory Committee. He was born in Hartford, CT and is married with three
children. |
