The Society of Women Engineers(SWE), founded in
1950, is a nonprofit educational and service
organization that helps women achieve their full
potential as engineers and leaders. The New
England region of SWE covers Maine, New
Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut
Rhode Island, and eastern New York.

Region F Conference April 10, 2010

Ebony Joseph (NESS) and the collegiate team from Boston University,
Samantha Brynes, Eleanor Hanlon, Heather Macken, Alexandra Shivers announce
that the Region F 2010 conference will be hosted by Boston University
in Boston, MA on April 10 with a business meeting the morning of April 11.

Sponsorship registration is available online. General registration for conference attendees will open in January 2010.

Region F won a number of awards at the National Conference at Long Beach, CA!

Outstanding Collegiate Section: Gold Award to RPI, Silver Awards to MIT and Olin.
Collegiate Recruitment Award - Olin
Website Awards: 2nd place RPI, 1st place: Olin

SME Bowl (Collegiate Subject Matter Experts) 3rd place ($1000 to the Region)! Team members were:
